This was a great time visiting Maule after a small snow storm had hit in the Maule region and not back home in Cajon del Maipo (or so I thought, I was wrong) I will upload the edit from Chillan, which is where we got the freshies of the storm, a prequel to this if you would. The snowmobile access in Maule is a lot of fun, it's vast and there are plenty different spots, it also holds good snow very good. 2011 snowboard exploration by snowmobile, to a hidden ridge that had been hit by more snow than was expected. It’s the magic of Cajon del Maipo. Cold storms coming in from the north hit peaks very heavy, while not even a drop hits the valley floor. Locals call it “escarchilla”, it’s magical!

This is the first footage of the snowmobile exploration of Cajon del Maipo. Cristián Wehrhahn and Juan Paulo Audisio had been trying to get in the valley for a few year with failed attempts. It was all worth it, it was more than they could have expected!

Cajon del Maipo has been an amazing discovery, there are more lines than you can dream of riding in your lifetime!
